The lightweight core of the board is a hybrid using exotic polymer foam and paulownia wood. The two materials are in lengthwise strips and are strategically placed to take advantage of the benefits of each material. The wood is for strength in the middle where the inserts are and under the heels. The foam is in between to take away as much weight as possible. The construction uses 3K carbon cloth and fiberglass to give the rider a responsive ride, and the glass keeps the board durable.
